How to Sous Vide Rack of Lamb in the Instant Pot Smart Pressure Cooker. Perfectly cooked and super easy!

NOTE:
Using the IP-DUO (non Smart) cooker, temperature needed to be monitored closely as the keep warm function will warm up to approximately 145 degrees F. Cold water was slowly added to the pot to lower the temperature whenever the temperature started creeping up, in order to maintain 135 degrees F.

Use a lot of dried mustard And that'll get rid of the gamieness that most people dislike in lamb.I did it on lamb shanks the other night and REALLY!I now love lamb!A couple sous vide chefs on youtube recomended itand they were right!.

hi, watched a lot of your videos lately since i got the ultra. does it consume a lot of electricity for keeping the temp constantly for 2 hours. Ultra has a function to set temp. and if i cover the lip would that works. with the cover close it should conserve the heat more efficiently i am thinking.

Flo, I just found “Your Story” video and am awestruck for lack of a better way to say it. I have a question after seeing your video…were you a fantastic cook when you were doing the 9-5, or did your skill in the kitchen develop after?

Did you use the sous vide water unit to cook the lamb or did you heat up the water to 130 then switch over to keep warm and that was it to cook until finish? and which instant pot did you use was it the 7 in 1 or the one with a blue display as I know you have any instant pots? thanks

That dish looks great and is much prettier than the last lamb chops I was served at Dover AFB, Delaware. The chefs there had cooked up all the chops for lunch and no one was eating them, and all the chops was filling the trash containers in the dining facility. It sadden me to see so much food wasted.

Hi Flo. I just got my Instant Pot Smart. I tried to sous vide my beef steak with it today. I realise tat the temperature stated on the Smart app is lower by 9°C compared to my thermometer. Is this the case or am I doing something wrong?
