What a wonderful Mexican style vermicelli noodle soup..I guess homemade soup is much better than the canned soup from supermarkets. I can’t wait to try it.
Mom used to add a jalapeno to all the soups she made, which she said was for the dish to be extra delicious. Although it doesn't make your food spicy unless you cut into the pepper, she always wound up keeping it for herself.

Do you have a problem with jalapeno. I have shopped at 3 different stores. All the jalapenos are mild. No heat. I really miss that. Aldis, Meijer and Walmart have mild Jalapenos. Help!
