I started doing 3 to 4 month freezer meals at a time due to watching your videos. I love the fact that I don't have to cook most nights of the week. I do make one fresh meal, have leftovers, and eat out once a week. This really makes it so the freezer meals last a very long time.

Made your Red Sauce last night after discovering our pizza sauce was expired. Delicious! Let it cool and got 4 more bags for spaghetti sauce. There was a little left over so made some pasta and had the last of it for supper tonight. Love watching you guys and use your ideas for freezer meals all the time. Bring on vacay with an instapot. We take your full recipes and break them into two meals. Our freezer fills up fast. You mention shredding chicken. I shred my cooked chicken with my hand mixer. Lol

For those meals that are good but not worthy of doing again…my family calls them one and done. Then there's the keepers and the tweaker. What can I say we are a family that likes to rhyme. Lol. Love you all. Xo

You two are always entertaining, definitely informative and today you have validated me! I make DV Dinners (it's 2022 so DigitalVision) as I am just cooking for myself. I tend to stick to recipes that are fully cooked going into the freezer for this reason. I make a recipe and split it into 4 or 5 servings. Thaw it in the fridge and heat it up when I get home from work. Even though I cook on a smaller scale overall and only do 2 or 3 recipes at a time, I do use most of what you have outlined here. 🍱

Really random question… if one had a full chest freezer of meat… would it be odd to mix all the "stuff" in a bag and then defrost and mix before cooking? Yes it's more "steps" but if I have a bunch of proteins but not the "meal" per se
