This is “How I’m Doing It” today! Sausage & potatoes in my Crockpot! It’s an easy, frugal, stick-to-your-ribs meal for a crowd!
Throw in chopped up cabbage and some stock for a great Bubble and Squeak. Use plenty of homemade biscuits to eat with it.

I bought my slow cooker a few months ago and immediately fell in love with it. It's just so awesome to be able to throw a meal on before i head to work in the morning and come back home to a ready made dish. I'm doing a chili right now but i am definitely trying this one on Monday. I've been trying to figure out what to do with this pack of honey dill seasoning i accidentally bought and think this will be the perfect recipe for it. Thanks
Can use uncooked sausage?
Why not use tinned tomato instead of water?
Once you make the broth with the odds and ends of vegetables you cut up…why not use a cup of it instead of the water that was used in this recipe?
I want to try this tomorrow but my sausage is not pre-cooked. Will that matter you think?
When you make the broth she was talking about with the vegie peelings, use the crock pot instead of a pot on the stove. Works great for the long slow cook and you don't have to keep an eye on it.

If you happen to not like real onion I suggest Liptons Onion mix, all the flavor of onion without the texture ๐

Hello, I enjoyed this video. quick question. Did you add water or use your homemade broth?
I don't like whole onions, so could I use onion powder? Also, maybe sprinkle some cheddar cheese on it near the end?
I will add green beans to this fresh ones on the top and a bit of garlic butter. Melted.
