If you cook meat in a slow cooker the flavour goes I only cook lamb shoulder or pork never a descent bit of beef or lamb leg !!!

I would have cooked that on a low heat in the oven for the same amount of time without having to sear all sides, so the slow cooker just seems more hassle
When i do my roast beef i do not add a lot. Of liquids i use one tomato and 1/2 cup of beef broth and i slow cook after one hour you should see the amount of flavor full juice in my cooker

When we did roast beef, it was delicious, i'd recommend to anyone.
This is one of my favourite slow cooker recipes as it is just so easy and you get a delicious joint at the end of it. Mmmmmm.
