To save using a bowl from the tomato paste can, just cut both ends of the tomato paste can on your can opener. Remove the top lid and then push the entire contents out by pushing the bottom cut lid forward. Most of the time this will clear the entire paste contents out as the bottom lid is pushed forward. In most recipes, you will use a full can anyway. It is not messy and you thus save a bowl from having to be washed later. Have you tried other beers with this stew? The flour will usually thicken the stew a bit. Nice video. Thanks for sharing.
Very timely as I'm making beef stew for tonites supper. I always add a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce to mine and would probably have deglazed that pan with some of that guinness. I'll let you know how mine turns out.
Made this it was delicious, added a tablespoon of better then bouillon
