I did this last year and the turkey was moist enough but not enough flavor. I had a whole turkey breast bone in. Looks like you have half but your recipe says 5-6lb. I followed the garlic butter recipe exactly with a 6lb full turkey breast and the butter was definitely not oozing out. Should I double it and try again?
this is really good. the compound butter is delicious. whatever you don't use add to your mash potatoes. it takes them to another level. nothing to improve or add on this recipe. it's a winner

this is so lean and requires much less than the whole bird whole oven method, its suprising we only do this for the holiday instead of alternating it with other meats
