This was so darn good Catherineβ¦. The only change I made,..I halved everything i and changed to mushroom soup. I didnβt havlve the gravy packet because I forgot to, but it was absolutely marvelous. I am an older woman who always love to cook and now it isnβt that I donβt like to cook anymore but I donβt like to do measurements and playing around and watching and tending food. I want to put it n the oven or the crockpot and be done about it. So thank you!..I have made similar crockpot dishes, but the lazy mix in the milk or a smash hit differentβ€

I fry pork chops in a frying pan with a can o mushroom soup mix, mixed with half a can of milk. Mix and pour over pork chops, cover and cook until done. Sometimes I add onions and chopped onions. Does not take long to cook.

Catherine I have another question. I want to make this recipe this week and so far 2 of my local grocery stores donβt carry cream of onion soup. So frustrating. I live in the Seattle, Washington area. My question to you isβ is there a substitute for cream of onion soup if I actually canβt find it here? Iβve already bought the rest of the ingredients. This recipe looks like something I should try. However, Iβm wondering about if this will be salty using 2 cans of soup, ranch seasoning and gravy mix. Any suggestions? Maybe using only half the packets and one can of soup? But will there be enough gravy? Iβm not sure what to do but have run into this problem before. Not your recipes, just recipes in general. If you haven't tried it yet, HEB has a Cream of Jalapeno and Cream of poblano. Whenever we go back to Texas to visit family we bring a case of each home to West Virginia. π
