Its Chef Tarentino version of New England beef stew.
You could tweak the cooking process a bit.
Brown the meat separately, then add to the sauteed onions, celery and carrots.
Yes, season with a little salt at each stage.
No need to line the bottom of the slow cooker with the potatoes. You could add in at the last hour of cooking though, so that the pieces still has its shape.
Cook till the liquid reduces to your liking., or add a little less stock.
Its stew, so slow cook for hours.
This beef stew is great though, with the spices, sans tomato.

All those veggies would be mush after that long because he cooked it so long before it went into the slow cooker. :< Veggies should be soft but not mush! Overcrowded the pan so the beef wouldnt get a good sear on them to hold in the juices. Not to mention, its a watery stew. This is more of a soup than a stew….

Easy to use and programmable.>>>ur2.pl/1064 The lid is also secured in place by latches making it safe to transport and you won’t get your abuelita’s frijoles all over the back of your lowered to the ground 4×4 pickup truck. Love this thing.

    3 things.
    1. Put flour on the meat and brown it first.
    2. Why did you put oil in the crockpot?
    3. Never garnish your food with an inedible thing, it's pointless.
It looks like it came together but the process was a bit rough. I'm not a pro but I am a foodie 😊
