God for using expired alka seltzer but expensive otherwise. Baking soda and vinegar does the same thing but much cheaper
Does anyone know the difference between the Alka Seltzer cleaning versus baking soda and vinegar (which would likely be less expensive)? The tabs would definitely be quicker….

Good grief! Our family has been doing this all since the 1960s. Use old Xmas cards in place of business cards.
What works just as good and so much cheaper than Alka seltzer is denture cleaner tablets. ๐๐ผ

I guess I will add my 2c…I use my skirt hangers (the ones with clips as you showed) to hold my recipes. I put the hanging (top part of hanger) through one of my cupboard door handles and 'scoot' the clips closer or farther apart, depending on the recipe card/sheet that I am working from. JudyK/IA
I hate to make a negative comment but Alka-Sletzer has Aspirin in it and should never be flushed down drains, sinks or the toilet. It is bad for the environment and water systems

This is everything BUT brilliant.
4:19 Dont poor it down the Drain, you can save that Alca-Seltzer Water and clean the hardwater build-up around your faucets or even poor it into your toilet and let it sit over night to remove the Calcium buildup on the bottom.
I haven't purchased alka-seltzer lately, but it seems to be a rather expensive cleaning product…vinegar or baking soda might do the same. overall good tips. . . thanks.

As Alka seltzer contains citric acid it is more economical to buy citric acid by the tub in the uk. Alka Seltzer is is expensive

Shower curtain rings all slide to one side, messing up anything pulled through them.
Denture cleanser is cheaper than Alka Seltzer and cleans better
I use to do the tablet thing years ago for my husband's stainless steel thermos that he took to work everyday.
Use a magic eraser to remove coffee stains in your coffee cup and coffee pot. Cheaper than alka seltzer and denture tablets.
Alter Seltzer is too expensive! To use like this!!!
