Lol wow I thought I was the only one that thought Cody was completely responsible for truly getting that sick and going into kidney failure. At that time Christine and the wives went out of town and Cody was responsible for taking care of the children and he knew that truly had a little bit of the flu and she was at a tender age as well she was very young he probably didn’t even take care of her at all didn’t give her any water didn’t have her drink anything didn’t have her eat anything he slowly left the responsibility on Christine‘s oldest children which were still teenagers… What kind of a father knowing that you are tender age child who is only four years olds is sick and not be there for them and making sure she’s drinking fluids and eating and watching out to see if she has a fever this and that I Soli blame Cody for truly almost dying

I get that this is edited for TV…however…the fact that after kody literally demeans and degrades Christine through this and when he leaves Meri's response is supportive of his horrid behavior (doesn't surprise me) but when these women sit and bash her for leaving and ruining their sister wife relationships and Robyn and meri get up and walk away? Yeahhhh you had a reallllly good relationship 😑 the only "sister wife" worth their shit in this whole situation is Janelle. Why is it so hard to be happy for Christine? So sorry that I had to leave the live chat early! I should know better than to put my errands off until Sunday haha. I really enjoy the live chats and look forward to them every week! I also appreciate you ladies taking my questions about Patreon and I’m so annoyed that they won’t take a prepaid debit card from me (or for everyone else who is going through a difficult financial time due to illness or divorce or death or job loss or all the other crap that so many of us are going through during this awful pandemic!) I know one day I’ll be back on my feet and will be able to pay down some debts and then will be able to open a checking or credit card again. They make it very hard to get rebanked when you don’t currently have steady income to make an opening deposit in US! Ugh! So in my heart I am donating to you ladies and subscribing on Patreon and hopefully I’ll be able to do that in actual real life very time soon! I am a content creator myself (had been working on a fantasy football podcast at a major cable network for several years before they had some changes of the guard earlier this year) and I 100% believe in paying for the content I consume! However in the meantime, I am really glad that this is available for free on YouTube and thank you so much for providing some free content for those of us who are going through rough times right now!
I was thinking about how Survivor puts one season on Netflix at a time for the folks who don’t subscribe to Paramount + (I share family members passwords due to my cash only situation for now until I’m back on my feet, definitely wouldn’t pay for any of those services at a time like this haha- would donate to you ladies first!) but in the same vein I was thinking maybe you ladies would consider having one old season of recaps on YouTube at a time? This episode really hit home for me because I’m going through an unwanted divorce myself. I know Christine’s is technically wanted on her side but at the same time I feel like she didn’t want it to get to this point so in a way the entire situation was unwanted – when she spiritually married Kody I do believe she believed in til death do us part, so even though she is leaving and I was the one who was abandoned in my situation, the emotions feel very similar and I relate to her so much.
I loved seeing photos of the other kids whom we haven’t seen in a while! I cringed a bit when Kody called Leo their previous name that they no longer identify with- do we have any info on when this was filmed and if Leo had disclosed to the family that they have changed their name and now use they/them pronouns? I hope that the whole family can be accepting and just live and let live, as they did when they found out they had an LGBTQ child to begin with. They don’t have to understand it but I hope they can still just be loving parents and support Leo on their journey. They deserve a happy life just as much as anyone else ❤
Maddie and Caleb’s kids are so cute! I am hoping next season we’ll get to see them a bit more since hopefully Christine will go visit. I think they are all really brave and I know Maddie and Caleb have a child that uses a prosthetic limb and i think that could be really inspirational for other viewers out there who either have the same thing or may have a child or family member who uses a prosthetic and that storyline could really make a big impact. Representation on TV is so important for those of us who are different in some way.
The preview for next week hit me especially hard because right before he left, my ex husband who left in May made a comment almost verbatim to Kody’s comment about sacrifices that he made to love me. In my case I want to save the marriage / fight for the marriage so it hit extra hard. I wish I had a sister wife like Janelle who could have been there to hug me 😢 I am so happy that Christine & Janelle are still close & will have each other to lean on during this difficult time, & glad their kids still seem to all get along so well.
Sending prayers up for all of the Brown family that they continue to work through this and do what’s best for the children as that’s the most important thing. All the wives seem to miss the point that Cody uses ANY excuse to stay at Robin's ever since she came into the family. He will use her kids needing him, she needs him, the other wives have said or done things to upset him. Meri's catfish ordeal made it easier to completely cut her off. Covid made it easier to isolate himself from everyone and stay secluded at Robin's house. The older kids call him out on his behavior because they don't like Cody treating their mothers unfair and they know their mothers cannot and won't call Cody out for treating Robin better than them. The wives cannot appear to be jealous of Robin because jealousy is something they need to overcome for their "faith". In some twisted way they believe their suffering will be rewarded in the afterlife. Gaslighting and emotional abuse is so strong in this family. I'm just proud the children are growing up and getting out of this lifestyle.
I find it hilarious that Meri is acting all self righteous after that mess she dragged the whole family through a few years back. I still remember Cody so cruelly saying at a tell all that he was NEVER attracted to Janelle. How cruel.
Christine is right. Cody does only what he wants. Taking off to perform a wedding but not at your daughters surgery? Cody is one of the least attractive little boys on TV. He's just mad that the show won't be as watchable with only one "REAL" wife.
Poor Janelle. She's got so much going for her but her kids dislike Cody. She stays cause Polygamy is all she's ever known.
