I made this yesterday (I forgot the cilantro and fish sauce even though I have some). I used a vegetarian curry bullion, curry powder & only 2 tsp of the red curry. My kids LOVED it!!! I'm going to make a pot to freeze. Tip: have your ingredients laid out because it is really a quick recipe using frozen veggies. I'm so glad I found this channel!

didn't have any fish sauce or chicken but made a pretty good variant by using napa cabbage , frozen peppers , and canned straw mushrooms with the usual red paste and coconut milk water mixture. thanks to this i added the garlic turmeric and ginger and i think it really mad a difference and i loved it just those 3 thing made so so much better than normal. i might not have followed this but i wouldn't have added it if not for that so ty for these videos.

    Just made it….. AMAZING!!!!
I put celery, carrots, potato potato potatoes. And when I ate most of the veggies out of the pot, I put sweet potatoes and taro root in.

Next time I'm gonna grill some chicken and use that.
    Thanks Chef Tom!!!

My wife made this soup tonight. It was absolutely delicious! Thank you so much for teaching us not only awesome recipes, but awesome techniques. P.S. she’s a Michigander like you, even though I’m a Kentucky boy. πŸ‘πŸ»

You're absolutely right about the sugar. I've been on a low carb diet for years and it has helped a great deal with my weight. I strayed from the plan for about 6 months and I started getting debilitating cramps all throughout my body, especially after I lay down for the night. I went back on my low carb diet a few days ago and it's already making a difference.

Yummy. Coconut milk is what you drink, coconut cream is the white flesh pulverised down to a liquid, that’s what you cook with. Soup looks amazing especially for winter

This looks delicious!!! Can't wait to try it.

Question: if I use uncooked chicken, would you recommend cooking it first, PRIOR to adding it to the sauce mix? Or, can I put it in raw, and cook it while it's simmering?
