Having this for lunch right now after letting the slow cooker go overnight. We only had vermouth on hand instead of a more basic red wine so I used that and the stew turned out great! This is only the 2nd time I've used my roommate's slow cooker and, as a collage student, I appreciate the cheap and simple recipe.
