We enjoy Thrive's Shrimp, and the size of them. The different layers in the jar look pretty, and oh so convenient. Kitchen remodel already looks great, now you just need a nicely done mosaic that is the title of this channel…Live Simple, Live Free…maybe placed on the wall where your microwave is now. Would look so cool to see that when filming your cooking episodes. Cheers!

Even though I don't have any Thrive Life yet, I took a snapshot of the recipe and I've named it "Bill & Elizabeth's Caribbean Shrimp and Rice Bowl". I could almost smell it when y'all were tasting it! Great video-thank you!

Omg. That looks so yummy. I was a thrive rep about a decade or so ago. I LOVED the food and company. I didn't really do anything with the business side of it. I was working long shifts and my mom had dementia and was living with me. You guys put out THE BEST videos…on all topics. This is my kind of cooking. I live in the Panhandle of Florida and am retired, on a fixed income. I live on a friend's property where we have a place for me to plant my first ever winter garden. I live in a travel trailer, so you can relate to my limited food storage.

Looks wonderful. Could use please show online the sizes of the different cans? What size and so on. It's hard to visualize it. I'd love to start ordering some but am hesitant with trying to get the concept of the actual size of cans. Thinking the 9.8 oz or the like is a big over a cup in size etc? Thank you if you can show that.
    Blessings

I would think you would use regular instant rice, instead of Thrive Life product ( I know you sell it). People could put a sock over the prepared jar, and then put on shelf. Keep it darker.

The meal in a jar is a great idea. I think I will purchase some Thrive Life products during the Black Friday sale. I’m a diabetic, so I can’t have the peas, corn or the rice but you have so many vegetable options that I’m sure I can find something that works for me. Does Thrive Life have dried riced cauliflower? If I could buy a large can of that, it would last me for awhile. I know you have fruit selections too and I will probably buy some of those too.

Now that's a totally cool idea. And, all you need is a bow on top, and you've got a Christmas present for someone you would like to introduce to freeze-dried foods. Y'know, like those family members who get the "deer in headlights" look when you try to talk to them about food storage….

For long term storage, would one need to add an oxygen absorber or just the absorber that comes in the Thrive cans? I have a vacuum sealer for jars and bags so maybe the oxygen absorber isn't needed? The possibility of having smaller items to tote would be awesome if I find myself looking for stored food in a long term situation. The modified food starch in the sauces causes me to have a reaction as my body thinks it's msg so I can't season it up at all. As Elizabeth does, I have gluten intolerance and even the onion in things will set me off making it difficult to have easy foods to eat.
