When you talked about the pop in a bottle, I INSTANTLY flashed back to being a kid, 40 something years ago, sitting at the end of the dock with my cousin on a Sunday night at their resort, after a day of chores (cleaning cabins, cleaning the beach, cleaning boats, raking the swimming area for seaweed, and digging worms & night crawlers to sell). Our reward was a COLD bottle of pop & a candy bar. We sat on the dock and enjoyed that while the sun went down. Nothing has ever tasted better. It almost brings a tear to my eye to remember how GREAT my 7 year old life was!

I have noticed some of the 365 label prices arenโ€™t bad. The meat dept is gorgeous (is that weird lol) but yes many of the name brands are much more . Iโ€™m pretty excited to see the gluten free Mac and cheese ! Capellos is great if you have to eat gf . Our local produce market Smiths Market (over 80 years old or so ) has a vintage bottled pop section . Nehi peach and strawberry ๐Ÿ˜There is also a cherry Italian soda . Thereโ€™s just something about drinking soda out of a bottle for sure

Yes, Jeniโ€™s ice cream is from my city of Columbus, OH! I had no idea they were sold across the country! There are multiple Jeniโ€™s ice cream parlors in our city and itโ€™s a HUGE hit here! My favorite is their goat cheese ice cream with I think raspberry compote in it. Delicious!!

Those prices were pretty on par with what itโ€™s like to shop in Canada at any grocery store. When you guys make budget meals my mind is always blown at how cheap you can get certain items in the US.

Hi Jen, love your channel. I have an idea that Iโ€™d like to see. Iโ€™d like to see you go to the Dutch Country Store in Bloomfield IA and do a shopping video and haul from there.

I still get glass bottle cokes of all kinds here in the south almost every store has them very easy to find. Especially at cracker barrel or specialty stores they have some of the really hard to find obscure old brands of soda

I love that Thrive approved this video showing you shopping at one of their "competitors". You end up showing Thrive's value very well, but I imagine many brands would say no to this kind of content (to their fault).

Ugh. Whole Foods. So damn expensive. I drive by and just feel poor. Same with Lunds Byerly's. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Hyvee is a perfect medium for me…
