Publix Carrie's both purple and bronze. I have been buying them for about a month now. My mom used to make.jelly with them. It was so good on a hot biscuit.

My grandpa used to grow Muscadines in Ocilla Georgia . We used to eat them right off the vine when I was a child. I will remember that flavor for the rest of my life. I loved them so much. What a unique flavor. There was a grape on the market recently that I tasted called "Gum Drop" and that is the closest I could get to the taste of the Muscadine. If I ever found some muscadines again, I would eat the whole bag even at the point of being sick. I miss them that much!! Thanks for bringing back that wonderful memory of my grandpa Golden and his farm.

We moved about 5 times when I was growing up, because of my Dad's job, but he always planted fruit trees wherever we lived, and it was amazing how quickly those trees started to bear plus whoever came behind us would enjoy the fruits of his labor. He's passed on now but I just sold his & mom's last home and was happy the new owner will enjoy peach, pears, pecans, grapes, gourds, etc. that he planted. We could all learn from that. He lives on through his plantings.

When I lived iin Rhode Island my husband and I made grape jelly from Concord grapes. They are big and purple. They were grown on my grandparents property.
My sweet mama in law had one in the yard. When I mowed I would grab me a hand full every time I went by them. I sure miss her! She always said I was the daughter she never had!

My granny had grape vines that climbed up over her back porch and my sister and I loved to go back there and eat them. We had to be careful because the bees loved them too!

I have never heard of this!! I thought it was a grape until you put it in your mouth and it was crunchy! I live in Indiana and I have never say them in the woods.
We don't have those in the PNW but they look good.
My Granny also had an arbor which was longer than this one. My cousins and I also played under and on top of the vines. Wonderful childhood memories โค๏ธ๐
