I know I'm pretty late to the party but if you don't have half & half, evaporated milk makes a nice sauce. I always keep a few cans on hand – also makes really smooth hot cocoa. Thanks for your great video!

Question regarding the frozen cheese. When on sale I buy cheese already shredded and usually in an 8 oz package. I freeze it and when needed I take a package out of the freezer and put in refrigerator. They all come with ziplock tops to close up after using. Am I doing anything wrong using the ziplock? I had never heard of the bacteria in cheese if not kept opened. Can you explain more. I've used my cheese this way for years. Thanks.

Thank you. Exactly what I was looking for. I am dehydrating potatoes for the first time and I will definitely make this. I agree with you, I am stocking up on shelf stable ingredients and items that I can make a meal with and not have to go to the grocery store.

Hey there Mouse, Yes the Strawberries since they have been frozen are a little mushy and they will discolor, But the flavor is still there. You are right to get as much liquid out of them . But they are better and hold their shape and color if done fresh. No need to worry though you are doing fine w/ them. I've done them frozen before  that is how I know what you are going through. But hang in there. Thanks for sharing your video and thanks for the plug. Love your channel and was kinda shocked to see my channel  come up. Thanks again
