Sometimes, when I put the lid on, it seems as if it is locked, but it isn't. I will have to readjust the lid which can slow down my cooking time. I'm pleased overall. I like the look of it. I enjoy the ease of cooking with it. Excellent item.
I love adding salsa as an ingredient in recipes. It’s one of those no fail ingredients for sure. I smiled when you said “supper”. That’s what he say here too in New England. Most people say dinner. I always get asked about it, lol.

I don't have an instant pot, but I make salsa chicken in my crockpot all the time. It is so yummy.

I have been thinking of getting a pressure cooker for a while. I wonder if it's as convenient as people say. I don't want to buy one and end up never using it. I have seen some use it for steel cut oats, so I would imagine this would be convenient while we get ready and have it cooked in the meantime. Then we could be good to go and start out homeschooling.
