Thank you John for the simple no fuss recipe. My oven is electric and fan assisted but it broke down some time ago so it doesn't adjust temperatures. I baked the bread at 200 degrees celcius and forgot to put in the warm water but it came out perfect 😂😂😂

You make baking bread from scratch easy and the results are always right on target. Thanks for sharing your bread making secrets!

This is still my favorite channel on Youtube. I don't know if it's because I'm a northerner myself (albeit from Scandinavia), but I can't stand all these loud and self-centered chefs on Youtube who shout out their recipes and let everything be drowned out by loud music. They are certainly skilled as well, but I have much more confidence in a soft-spoken, humble and experienced master like Kirkwood.

‏hey, first of all thanks for your wonderful recipes, I have 3 of your cookbooks. But it seems to me that you don't really know what no knead bread is, what you have made here is called folds bread. No knead Bread After the wooden spoon step, cover and leave for a minimum of 12 hours on the counter. Then form a loaf, rise and bake in a preheated iron pot. In short, it is not no knead bread , there is too much kneading in the process. glad that there is one thing that I can teach you, after I learned quite a lot from you.

John and viewers, I'm afraid I have adopted the no-kneed method for literally all bread making recipes-I usually add salt and butter or a bit of oil or both (about 50g/ml) and mix till no visible flour and cover and leave it for an hour or two-the flavour is amazing and it is soooo much easier, I have never been a fan of kneading-my husband however finds it therapeutic, maybe its to do with being tall enough compared to the height of the counter? Either way-no knead has been a game changer for me. Thanks for the video xx as ever xxx

That looks amazing once again John. Could You please advise where and what exactly should be in the middle of the oven when baking bread or a cake?
I never know if the top or the bottom of the cake tin or bread tin should be in the middle of the oven? Kindest regards
    Tony
