Richard, nice recipe, I'll try with root beer as I never have, I like A&W root beer, I drink the diet, funny you should mention the others, I drink diet Dr. pepper, diet coke, & diet 7-up, ( the only 1 you didn't mention, but not for ribs) those 4 taste just like the ones with sugar, I can tell the difference twinxt all other sodas
