We love it smeared on Italian bread and butter. Also super yum on bbq'd steaks.
I always mash it together with softened butter. I then use that garlic butter for buttered noodles and for garlic bread-soooooo good!!!!!

I made this before and I did it just like you Catherine and it came out terrible. I even used organic extra Virginia olive oil. It tasted terrible when I made it. Hmmmm. Oh well, your looks delicious. Love your recipes and vidoes.

I love roasted garlic! I can eat it by the fork fulls! Trouble is I haven't seen a decent head of garlic in over a year. It all seems so wilted.
I just roasted garlic yesterday, we had what I call " no vampires tonight" you toast a baguette and spread the roasted garlic with bleu cheese……….just scrumptious π

Great tutorial. If you freeze it do you freeze it in the olive oil?
I do this all the time I put them in large old pimento pepper jars and then freeze them can grab a jar when I need it.

Now you need to do a series on recipes that use that roasted garlic. I've never roasted garlic before and I'm not sure what, if any, limitations there are in how or when to use it. Brilliant demonstration, by the way.
