Muchas gracias.

Every time, I'm surprised by the Japanese way of health.
They all eat (most of the time) very healthy with lots of vegetables and fish or lean meat. But on the other hand, a lot of them smoke cigarettes. I really don't understand how the two go together.
Smoking in a hotel room is a big no-no here in the Netherlands. Ever the cheaper ones have a non-smoking policy.
If I got a room smelling like cigarette smoke, I would ask for another room.

This video reminds me of my 2 previous trips to Hokkaido. First trip was by Shinkansen during the Autumn month and the 2nd trip was a driving trip from Sapporo airport to various parts of Hokkaido during the end of Summer. I remembered I had to wait till 9pm to drive up Mt Hakodate to avoid the crowd and to be able to find a parking lot. The night view was beautiful despite the cold wind and I could get a good spot to take photographs. In Hokkaido alone I saw alot of rain. A memorable trip indeed. Will visit again no doubt but this time winter

2:37 – Sorry, but that is not correct. The iconic long face is to ensure that no air-hammer effect is created when the train enters a tunnel when going fast/maximum speed. This also means that the air-tight seals in the train are not damaged by shockwaves. The trains achieve stability because of the solid engineered track-bed, the track width, the extreme flatness of the continuous rails, and the large mass of the train.

when i went to japan i had the same question of the picture of someone standing on the toliet on the "how to use toliet" instructions, i understand its for people who are from countries where they squat on a toliet/like to squat on toilets but not "proper"
