I made this last night… it came out so good… only I did 3 things differently. I did not peel my potatoes. I like the skins on because they add extra fiber. I also sautéed 1 red pepper up with the other vegetables. And then at the end when I was adding the heavy whipping cream and the other ingredients, I also added about 1 cup Velveta cheese to give the broth a bit of a cheesy flavor.

Debbie thanks for the pressure cooker recipe for good old-fashioned potato soup! I haven't had it since my mother passed. It is one of those recipes that everyone adds so much extra things to it. The couple times I tried it (withbacon, cheese, paprika ect..)It just didn't taste like hers. Well I tried yours and it is exactly what I remember hers to be. I am thrilled to make it in a PC! Also I was able to cut it down and make it in a 4qt. Next time I am making it in the 8qt when my sister is visiting! She is going to be thrilled! I love your channel and your recipes. I have tried several and you have helped me to learn a lot about pressure cooking in the last year! Thanks so much!

I have a 6qt instant pot so I'll have to cut this in half but it looks like my Grandma's potato soup. She was from WV and used whole milk instead of cream but it was so good with cast iron skillet cornbread

Easy to use, clean and I just love it!>>>ur2.pl/1035 I was afraid of pressure cookers and scared to get burnt or have the thing blow up. I read the instructions, it was simple to use and now I am pressure cooking! I use it to cook beans and the pressure cooker infuses the flavors and my beans are soooo tasty!!!

Made this tonight for dinner and it was fabulous. The only things I added was some creole seasoning to spice it up a bit, I fried some bacon beforehand on the sear function for garnish, and I added some shredded cheddar cheese on top. It tasted like a loaded baked potato, soup style. Definitely one of my favorite soups, and one of my favorite pressure cooker meals. Perfect recipe!
