    Oh! I will try this. Possibly today, for my hubby. Except I have no meat, so I'll use the vegan stuff and soy curls. I have some of that rice mixture. Oh goodness, I'll make it now. Time to pull down that second ipot off the shelf…LOL! First one is making black beans. I, too, like Laineyslife will see if my hubby takes to it…help ease his nicotine cravings, if he has them…because TODAY IS THE DAY! Wow, I still can't believe it. Lucky me. 🙂

    I was rearranging my fridge the other day and found two (!) packages of Wild Rice Blend, lurking in the nether regions. How glad I am to see your video posted today, oh my! Your recipe would work with any leftover meat (poultry would need a chicken , or vegetable type broth) and veggies. I love using the Soup setting. I think it boils slower than Manual, but still maintains the needed heat. I use the Soup setting when I make Stocks, it seems the end product is clearer to the eye…Thumbs Up!!
