Hi! Just one piece of advice: it's better not to put metal cans on the fridge as they can get rust in them and therefore in the food/sauce stored, better to put the content of the can in a container or a glass jar and then store it in the fridge! 😊

Just a tip: say kiwi FRUIT – otherwise it sounds like you are talking about a Kiwi – that's the nickname for a person from New Zealand 😉
Ansonsten Gute Besserung und Danke für das schöne Video ;o)

We were wondering when you would get the InstantPot, ever since your 1st interview with Michael Greger! InstantPot cooking is most definitely a challenge in terms of figuring out the proper times. This is a great website that I keep on my phone to reference every time I make beans or grains, though they list just about everything you would cook: https://www.hippressurecooking.com/pressure-cooking-times/
I find it to be must more accurate than the times in the InstantPot manual. If you haven't already done so, the InstantPot makes amazing steel cut oats (3 minutes pressure cook time) and quinoa is so easy (1 minute cooking time). It is also great for steaming sweet potatoes and cooking spaghetti squash!

Pressure cooking is just the best. Saves SO MUCH time! Honestly, I use it all the time for batch prep! Also, each one is different so you just have to learn how to use yours!

Oh definitely it is better to have some staples in your cupboards…as people are honestly behaving as if it was a zombie attack and but literally ALL they can, leaving the shelves empty XD

I love using my instant pot, I told you it's great to have! Like anything new you'll get used to it and know how to do things, watch videos and experiment. I always write down the time and settings I use then after I note what to change. Try making single ingredients at first so you learn the correct time each takes and write it down! Let's say you're making a stew with some wild or brown rice in it, everything you put in there will have to cook as long as the rice (about 22 minutes) so they may over cook. So you can either cook a big batch of rice separately and then add to a quicker timed recipe or add the more tender veg after and with the lid off just use the slow cooker or sauté setting. Note*** even the low sauté setting gets quite hot! If using stir a lot and sometimes I switch it on and off as I finish up a recipe. Don't be alarmed when it says "HOT", that just means it's reached the correct temperature. Another tip, if doing a large batch of rice use the liner pot that comes with it, but for small amounts do the pot in pot method I told you about. Ask me if you're unsure.

Check out Nutmeg Notebook, Well Your World, Jill MacKeever, High Carb Hanna, Chef AJ. They all do instant pot cooking. Looking forward to more videos with recipes (with exact measurements would be great)!

You're looking great Ferdi, all the best!

I'm always so happy to see one of your videos come up. You are improving so fast it's crazy! I really enjoyed this video. I can't believe how many calories you can eat in a day. I love my Instant Pot for cooking beans and rice ahead of time and freezing them. The hardest part is figuring how long to cook the different varieties. I cooked chickpeas to perfection one week and turned Jacob's Cattle beans to mush the next. Red lentils pretty much always turn to mush, btw. Lastly, I have to say, the buildings there in your area are very cool looking.
