I know you said it would be good to have a snap-on lid because only a huge eater would finish a whole box of macaroni & cheese. Keep in mind a whole box is actually a good amount for any eater because macaroni was intended to be eaten as a main dish…hence macaroni & cheese 'dinner'. Think of it like spaghetti or ziti or similar others considered the main course of a meal. I'm not sure how it ever became known as only a side dish, but oh well.

WOW!! I’m here today because I just found this item (looks different packaging / and is a single blue bowl) AT MY LOCAL DOLLAR STORE IN NY! I grabbed one (thinking “hey it’s a dollar- if anything could use it for a regular bowl” 🤷🏻‍♀️) so I’m here seeing if the thing actually works,
So glad I found your video! I think I’m going to swing by the dollar store today and grab the rest there!!

I have 2 children that loveee Mac and cheese, and they started out doing the single serving bowls in the microwave; but then they grew so would need to make two at a time to get full! But they’d do that when I didn’t feel like cooking – hence not wanting to fire up the stove those times. So needless to say I’m definitely grabbing what’s left! 😁😁😁

Thanks for the awesome review. It seems they did slightly change but I think looks even cooler! No box – instructions in the silicone feeling of the dish!
(If I can attach pictures I will)

Not sure what the deal is with mine. We have 3 and it takes way longer than 5 minutes to make a box of mac n cheese. More water as well. The noodles are still chewy when you follow the directions.

I bought this and just did a YouTube review on it. I was seeing if anyone was else reviewed and what they thought. I drained the water on mine . For some reason the noodles still seemed hard

My moms boyfriend (basically my stepdad) got mine, it takes longer than 5 minutes and I have to fill the water a bit higher than the line, but it works nicely. And if I ever need it, he also got me my very own pasta boat 😋 👍🏻

Try Glad press n seal then of you want a sealing plastic wrap. Maybe the store brand wraps you're using don't stick as well.

So, it's been two years since your review of the Rapid Mac Cooker. Do you still use it? I just got one a few weeks ago, and it works good, I usually don't microwave anything, but this is an exception. By the way, the lid idea would be really handy. I'll check out more of your videos.

Just bought this today, and cooked it tonight. I used Kraft Mac thick and creamy. I followed directions to the letter. Cooked for 2.30 minutes, stirred and  cook again for an additional 2 minutes. Then added the milk, butter, and dry mix. It thicken up as is sat, but the macaroni was still crunchy. Put back in the microwave for another minute, but it still out crunchy. I will try again using a lower setting in oven, and maybe cooking longer. If I do not get good results back it goes to the store. With that being said I want to thank you for this video, and all your videos.

Old Nerd…I would like to make a suggestion…as I own two of these myself…do not add the milk…I know the box says add the milk…but the left over water inside the mac cooker is enough to dissolve the cheese powder and makes pretty damn good mac and cheese that you can eat a lot faster than the 5 minute cool down you were talking about…
