The holes are probably put in there so it doesn’t allow the vessel to create a seal. If the lid were to seal when hot the vessel could possibly collapse when it cools off. It would act like your canning jars when canning. When canning you leave a small space just enough to seal the lid.

I'm wondering trying pot in pot. Bottom pot will hold halved sweet potatoes sprinkled with cinnamon and some bourbon and pat of butter. Top will hold baby carrots sprinkled with cinnamon and pat of butter using steam lid. Each will be served in a bowl with the bourbon/butter mix poured over sweet potatoes.

I have a set similar to this one, includes 3 pans one perforated. The two non-perforated have different volumes but you can only stack two at a time. I like the knob on the lid and the secure rack. I set the combination on a shallow trivet since mine wouldn't elevate enough out of the water in the IP.

Thanks for sharing. I would like to see more pot in pot dishes. I just recently got mine and haven't used the yet. Mine came with two smaller pots and a steamer pot. Seems they are all a little different.

Her pronunciation is perfect, I find it interesting how people talk a lot about quinua but don’t know how to pronounce it. That is how we pronounce it in the Andes mountains. Good job Nili, you are awesome!!!

👍👍👍by chance nili and at last !! I have been able to order these very simular inpot pans like the ones you regularly use.
Here in the UK they could not be shipped to me ….or very costly via another seller .
My only moan would be no handle on the top pot lid to lift off,it's like a suction effect takes over !!
These you show today look better with the little handle ,one pan bigger ,and holes to steam……
Mmmmmh, think I will be asking my son to adapt what I have ,and nd get to work drilling a few holes😊
I use in pot method every day now thanks to your great channel .
Rest up when you can nili,,,,it's much appreciated the time x effort you give to us all x💜

Would love to see some more videos on using stackable pans, I recently go some and need so inspiration to make use of them more. Also I made two crustless quiches in my stackable pans worked great, but clean up was tricky due to the grooves where the pans stack, any tips for cleaning the stackable pans. Thanks

(very new to the Instant Pot community)…
QUESTION: if you only want to use one of the sealed pots, will its lid be tight enough to limit moisture?
QUESTION: Is there anything I should know about using one pot? Thanks. : )
