Maple syrup is a very expensive item here. Once in a blue moon I treat myself though. Everyone of your meals looks amazing Abby Jo. A mom that serves lovely meals to her family is a precious jewel. Would love to see when those woods have regained their summer splendor again. Take care.๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒท

Thank you for the wonderful video! I loved it! I was especially interested in seeing you make the cinnamon rolls. They looked amazing! My family love them too and I make them often. I have never used maple syrup in my glaze though, but may try it. Appreciate all you do. God bless you and your family

Iโ€™m done 4 as well a bit south of you but for the most part, after Memorial Day. Itโ€™s a short season but itโ€™s beautiful up here. Enjoy your walks in the woods. I love to forage for edibles. Iโ€™m sure youโ€™ll find wild onions, ramps and if youโ€™re lucky morels (Iโ€™ve yet to find 1 ๐Ÿ˜œ). Happy Mothers Day.

Love your videos! Do you ever find chaga on your birch trees? If so, you should harvest a little and dry it, then make chaga tea. I think it's more like coffee with a sort of vanilla twist. It's great medicine, too (adaptogen, immune booster, etc.). Your cinnamon rolls made my mouth water. God bless.

I made a very similar soup a few weeks ago except I accidentally overdid the pepper. Lol. The last of it is in the freezer and ill probably add some mashed potatoes or even cooked rice in to serve and tone the pepper down but it certainly was delicious. Your cinnamon rolls are so good. Its porridge season here so I need to make your muffins too. I ove that blue and white blouse, so pretty. I love ยพ sleeves too. Composting leaves, bare trees with moss are so pretty. Everything has its own beauty. Its a cool thundery week here and im just heading out to plant some yellow and green peas with my Little in what's just become her snack garden , a little cut off water tank that grew us 12.5 kg of sweet potatoes that we harvested a few days ago. I'm planting her chervil, perennial spinach, nasturtium, lettuce and shell plant those peas up a stick teepee . It should be very sweet . She can graze as she likes once it grows. I can't wait to see your garden . Lots of love sweethearts ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ

Happy Mother's Day Abby Jo!! Again I find peace watching your videos, esp the beautiful music. ๐ŸŽผ๐ŸŽป
The split pea soup looked divine. It has been a long time since I've made it as I live alone. I could almost taste it with you!
I am excited for the new venture you have before you, learning the new gardening season. I know it is a lot of work for all of you – but I also know you are up to the challenge. Blessings for a wonderful week.

Thank you for another cozy, enjoyable visit with you, Abby Jo! It's raining and cold here today, too, and I also did some baking. It's so cozy. I'll be looking forward to the kitchen tour you mentioned. I'm interested in your stove and in your counter tops. I know granite and things are all the rage, but I don't like hard counters. I would like wood, but I've wondered about how well it would work out. I'm interested to hear you talk about them. Have a blessed weekend! And Happy Mother's Day! ๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’ฎ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒน

As I live in a forest I spend at least 2-4 hrs everyday (depending on the weather) wandering around in nature. Note to self must get a milk warmer/frother ๐Ÿ˜‰

I LOVE Vintage Home Decor! ๐Ÿ’– I've been doing LOTS of decluttering and donating! Is there anything that you found helpful when you were living in a tiny space? We are SO EXCITED about this New Chapter for us!!! The countdown has begun! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š PS. Happy Mother's Day weekend ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒบโ˜•!!! XOX

Like you I love being outside. I meticulously cleared out an overgrown portion of my 1/2 acre lot…just finished. I created paths and started planting a woodland garden. It's so peaceful.

Beautiful and calming. My husband will be baking the cinnamon rolls from your cookbook as a special treat once my baby is born. Iโ€™ve had to watch my carbs and sugar since I have gestational diabetes this time, and Iโ€™m looking forward to indulging in a delicious cinnamon roll!๐Ÿคค๐Ÿฅฐ

Iโ€™ve been trying to get in the habit of baking more yeast doughs. Did cinnamon rolls a few times, but I love the idea of adding maple syrup๐Ÿ˜
