I mostly use my Instant Pot as an electric pressure cooker and slow cooker. It cuts the time to make pulled pork down to a fraction of the time it would take in a crock pot. Sometimes I use it to sauté or warm food, depending on the recipe, and occasionally I use it to make yogurt.

Recipe:
Instant Pot Pork Belly

1 pound of pork belly (no skin)
1 tbsp – Salt
1 tbsp – Pepper
1 tbsp – Dried thyme
1 tbsp – Dried Oregano
1 small head – Garlic
3/4 cup – Dry White Wine

1) Set electric pressure cooker to heat (stew/meat if using an Instant Pot) place pork belly in the cooker skin side up

2) Cover with all listed ingredients, pour wine into the container and cover

3) Pressure cook for 30 minutes

4) Release pressure and rest the Pork Belly before slicing and serving. Enjoy!

I made this yesterday. I bought some already cut, into thick strips of pork belly. Never have cooked it before. Really had no idea what to do with it lol. Then I came across your video. I made it the same way your recipe called for. I used dried seasonings, did not have fresh, same as garlic. Sad, I know lol. I had a bit of wine that my, now married son left in the fridge, worked perfectly. Use what your kitchen has is a great motto. I did use the meat/stew selection, forgot to lower to 30 minutes, mine cooked for 35. After it was finished, it was so tender I cut it with a fork. Fried it in a tablespoon of Kerry Gold butter in a cast iron skillet. OMG! Wow! The flavor of the seasonings, the crispiness of the pork belly and the fat on my lips!!!!!!!! haha. Thank you. By the way, I made the ketchup as well. Yup, awesome!

Haven’t had a chance to catch up on your videos lately. Missed them. I just love them! 😊 They are informative, to-the-point and so calming in a great way! I was going to buy myself an Instapot for Christmas but wasn’t sure if I’d use it enough. This is a great idea! What else do you use it for?

    Looks delicious.

Gotta invest in an instapot and stop eating out so much $$$!

Appreciate the videos. They're quick and to the point. Similar to another keto channel (you ruled me).

    Have a good one!
