I made it for Christmas dinner today! I just sampled it and I think there's going to be a lot of happy full people in a few hours.

One suggestion, I am a newish cook. It would help me if you would give portion sizes especially for spices. I had to give it a educated guess. Turned out fine, but it would be great for future recipes.

    Thank you!

    Merry Christmas!!

Im going to to try it for dinner the only flaw was you didnt say how much ingrediants you needed. Like how many cans of chicken broth when you add it in with the chicken or how many teaspoons of paproka or chili powder. So basically im just going to eye ball it. Wish me luck.

I don't think there are a whole bunch of people out there trying to make pozole at home who have not grown up eating this delicacy. For me, the big problem with pozole is that in 90+% of so-called "authentic" Mexican restaurants in my area, pozoles (and menudos/birrias for that matter) are, more often than not, a complete and utter disaster. I wish restaurants would care to make at the very least this kind of recipe and serve just that, not messing around. Thanks for introducing us to what a decent bowl of pozole is all about!

Hey Rockin Robin. Looks amazing. I am going to try this tonight with pork. I looked at a lot of vids for Pozolé, and yours seemed to be the simplest without sacrificing too much of the authenticity. I am going to try it in my Instant Pot, or as I call it my 'Tardy Pot'…..as there is nothing instant about it. 🙂

Mr. Danny Lorenzo, I don't think this is an insult in any way. Insult would be if you think your way is the right way and nobody else can do it your way. Everybody has the same type of food who do it different ways. I just saw a video for chicken Pozole from a latina who I think she said she was Mexican and she did her pozole way way different and I don't think is bad either. There are so many videos of Chicken Pozole being made on youtube from Authentic Mexican people who I am sure can battle each other about their recipe. So don't hate or be upset. You can try many ways and see which way works for you and SHUT UP about it. I tried this recipe and it is delicious. Thank You Rockin Robin you are awesome.

Dear Robin: I made this recipe tonight. Your video was so detailed that it made it so easy for me to follow from the preparation to the finish. And the best part was that my partner and I loved it dearly! He said he loves it more than the recipe at the restaurant because he never liked all that heat. It's the perfect recipe and it's absolutely amazing and not missing anything! We now have a new family favorite. If you ever make it out to Bellflower, Ca., I'll have you over for dinner!
