I enjoy your videos so much! One note on the chicken vindaloo (one of my favorite dishes) is that the “aloo” in vindaloo translates to “potato”. Add some cubed potatoes and stretch it further.

Your InstaPot went to MED heat when yiu set 6 minute manually. My old one I have to manually set the LOW heat as the Rice setting is on HIGH setting. Confusing. Both my Manuals say RICE Heat Setting LOW.

My mom would love when I would make meatloaf. When I make a meatloaf I have a basic recipe (ketchup, lipton onion soup mix, bread crumbs and egg) then I add BBQ sauce or different spices. It turns out awesome. Everything looks good

Sarah, I have that same canner and I’m scared to do anything with it lol I’m always afraid something will be wrong with the product. I just need to put my big girl pants on and use it 😅

The message I got was "a little food prep saves the day when you're busy". I don't do canning but I have a lot of prepped stuff in the freezer. When I buy a huge pile of ground meat I cook almost all of it ahead of time, half with onion and green pepper chopped and added to the mix. Sealed in quart bags in the freezer these thaw quickly because they are pre-cooked, or throw them frozen in the broth for soup or stew. I buy a big head of celery and chop it all up in the food processor and freeze it in small bags to be thrown in, ready to go. I also make soup base by sauteing chopped onion, celery and carrot. When mostly cooked I freeze the mix in labeled bags. This sort of thing helps so much on a busy day.

I’m glad you added at the end how the dessert pizza turned out because I would love to replicate that!! I wondered if you would do anything different and what did the kids think of it?
You are sooo right about when you are hungry and the kids are going wild around you for some reason your brain just won’t help you come up with quick meal ideas so having a list close by is perfect and knowing that they are made from staples that you keep on hand takes a lot of the guess work out.
You made me laugh each time you said I’m not going to use rice again ….you ended up using it! lol😂 Use what you have I say and when it’s mixed in kids won’t realize they are having rice again but it will be a good filler for their tummies.🥰❤️🙏🏻🇨🇦🍁
