I do love your recipes Paula, but you lick your fingers entirely to much while cooking and not washing them. That is so unsanitary!!!! COVID/ FLU/ Staff infections still exist. ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก

My Granny taught me to cook grits. I use the old timey grits and I measure four to one. That's four cups of liquid, as in two cups of water and two cups of whole milk, and one cup of grits. Stir or whisk constantly to make smooth and yummy. I don't care how long it takes because it's so good!

Oh Paula Iโ€™m with you 100%. I canโ€™t stand most of network TVs programming anymore. I was just thinking today that I need to find a TMC movie to watch today to make me feel better! Sitcoms of the past, like those found on MEtv, are a breath of fresh air that arenโ€™t focused on pitting everyone against each other. On a lighter note…Iโ€™m going to try your tomato grits recipe except, as a Midwesterner, we use yellow cornmeal and make mush. Iโ€™ve never put eggs in mush but think Iโ€™ve got to try it!

Paula Deenโ€ฆโ€ฆ!!! I am 36 years old and not one time in my life have I had grits. My aunt used to make them and I thought they smelled like oatmeal, which I donโ€™t care for. These are AMAZING! Something else to add to the table when I get to spend the day with you!! Until then!! Love and well wishes!
