i never liked pumpkin pie until i started using pumpkins right out of the field. I also found a recipe that calls for sweetened condensed milk instead of canned milk. its a winner winner chicken dinner….lol

I see where you have a word called Larapin or Laripin, for things that are extra good and deliciously special. It's pretty similar to a word that we had from my mother's side, which was "Lammy" or "Lummy". And that was short for Lammygumptious or Lummygumptious. I'm sure there's a story behind how you came by the word Larapin, and would like to know where it is. I'll find it I'm sure.

Ms Lori, I made your crust and pie and the filling was delicious. But I don't know for sure what went wrong with my crust. 🙁 I don't know if I worked it too much (didn't think I did) or just didn't get the butter distributed through the flour goo enough. It was tough, but it sure tasted good. I think my butter was still too frozen to blend good. I'm gonna try again, but this time I may use my food processor I'll let you know. But the filling was soooo good. I usually use the recipe on the Libby's pumpkin can, but I used yours and we loved it.

Ms. Lori I made your beef stew and cheddar biscuits for supper tonight and they turned out delicious! I got worried about the stew late because I had to add so much water I was afraid there wouldn’t be any flavor. I was wrong!!! The only thing is my cheddar biscuits didn’t rise. I checked and double checked the recipe and I know I did everything you said. I wonder if my baking soda is outdated? They taste real good but they are flat as a pancake. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Thank you so much for sharing your recipes. I’m really excited 💞

Thank you Miss Lorrie….to make a fresh pumpkin pie has been on my to do list for a long time. Was it hard to turn over the pumpkin halves? Do I turn them over and then just spoon it out? Thank you again. I love your videos!!!

I love watching your channel while doing my dishes. Very soothing and not stressful.
If that time is correct on your stove and I hear crickets no wonder you are asleep by 8 p.m. Up at 0200 making pies???? I love my mornings before people get up.

Lori, it is amazing that so many people comment the same sentiments about you……you are their favorite you-tuber, you calm/distress people , you feel like a lifelong friend even though never met you and you teach others to cook. What a blessing you are and a gift to so many people. During my and my husband’s battle with covid last month, I was so sick and depressed and we pulled up YouTube on our smart tv and would watch you and Mr. Brown….it was literally the only thing that eased my anxiety .
So much gratitude and love for you both. ❤️
