This video was dull, like your knife…. No just kidding. I felt the need to comment on your knife like the other people and that's what came to mind.  I actually found your video extremely helpful. I have a brand new Instant Pot and have only done rice and eggs so far.  My first real recipe will be pulled pork this weekend.  What I appreciate most is how you take the time to answer everyone's comments. The one think I'm not clear on is if the meat goes directly on the bottom of the pot or if it sits on the trivet. Other than that, I was baffled by the lack of BBQ sauce. What? Pulled pork without BBQ sauce, oh the humanity! I ate at a BBQ once where they don't serve sauce because they say their meat is so good you don't need it.  OK, it was good meat, but to me, meat is just a delivery vehicle for the sauce.  I put it on everything, burgers, sandwiches, meat, etc. I look forward to trying your recipe this weekend. Wish me luck on my first Instant Pot meat adventure.

I'm so surprised you can do this without adding water or using the rack. I seem to have burnt areas on the outer ring of stainless steel pot often and so have been adding water to most recipes. don't really want boiled meat…. Any ideas why this happens?

So that was a very loarge pork butt, so you are saying I can do what you did, cut it up, brown it on saute, then change the setting to meat and it will just cook until it is done? It can sense when the meat is tender? Or if not, how long did you cook it for on high pressure?

Great video–I use my I-Pot so much that I paid the $30 and got a second stainless steel bowl. I gave my excellent H-Beach slow cooker with the probe away, because I've learned that I prefer this heavy metal bowl. On 'slow cooker high' and a full pot, it is 200 degrees and stays within 195 and 200. I also love, love the glass lid, use it constantly except for the pc stuff. Incidentally, I love iced tea and I use my I-Pot daily to make it; using the 'saute high' setting, it'll boil a gallon of water quickly; I use gallon-sized Lipton tea bags and have fresh tea within minutes! So much more convenient than watching a pot on the stove.
