    How can rice cooked in excess water and strained have its nutrients?? Rice is rich in B vitamins and all of this is water soluble and lost in the cooking water. If you are consuming the strained water and kanji in another form it is ok, otherwise just the rice alone will not contain the vitamins and micro nutrients it is so rich in!
