Awesome. Thanks Doug! Have you tried Zatarain's red beans and rice in the instant pot? Trying now in my 3qt 🤞
Awesome! I never thought about doing instant mash in the pc 🙂 Will definitely try it !
I BET YOU COULD THROW IN SOME ONIONS, CHEESE, BACON, CREAM AND MAKE POTATO SOUP.
Wow that did them pretty good Doug!
Doug, I like that Cosori pressure cooker. I may have to get one. TFS
Worked perfectly!! I haven't had instant mashed potatoes in years. They looked delicious. Thanks for sharing😃
Would I just double up the ingredients if I wanted to do two packets in my 4 qt pressure cooker? Still 5 minutes? Thanks in advance
Hey Doug… Had my eye on this Cosori 2 qt. PC for a while. I own the Elite Bistro 2 qt.PC from HSN like you do, but after viewing your vids with your new Cosori, I was sold & bought it on Amazon. A great machine along with all the accessories that come along with it. I bought mine with the non-stick inner pot. I just emailed Cosori to find out if I can separately purchase the stainless steel pot too. Waiting for them to respond. Idahoan brand mashed potatoes are the BEST! Thanks for giving me the idea. Will be making that tonight in my Cosori PC with a little more water and less time, like you said at the end of this vid. Thanks for the tips and keep up the good work.
Umm..take a 2 cup measure and fill with water and microwave 2 minutes, add to potatoes in a serving bowl and mix. Shake the boiling water pan and dishes done till dinners over. Why all the extra work?
Ditto on the milk for mashed potatoes. Great brand. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the video. My PC has a steam function & I was wondering if it would work for rice. After seeing your potatoes I'll give it a try. I tried to join your FB group and never received a response. I'll try again.
I always use milk instead of water with instant mash. You get a much more authentic taste. Good vid tho.
