I was gifted a 25 lbs turkey the day after Thanksgiving on top of the 12 lbs of turkey we had for Thanksgiving..the left overs were made into 2 different casseroles and the gifted turkey was buttered up, seasoned and put in the roaster on low with potatoes, carrots, celery and onions and more seasonings..It has been in my roaster for 48 hours on low and today I was going to put it in cans..Thank you for sharing this!
We only had very small amounts left over this year. I had just enough to make soup. I did freeze the carcass so I can put up Turkey broth.
