    That food processor…lol.. I have one just like it that I got when I was 17 in 1972. It worked great just until a few years ago and I had to replace it. And I used it a lot. But I kept it because it actually still works. Not so much for big jobs anymore but fine for small things.

    Hey Leslie. Just finished this video & your first day of your trip. Sorry I haven’t been watching. We have really been busy with doctors appointments & getting ready to start my hubby’s treatments. I really liked your pickled slaw. I made sauerkraut myself this past Sunday. This was my second time making it. I did go to the Farmers Almanac & checked the signs for when to make kraut. I had 2 heads of local grown cabbage. I ended up with 2 1/2 quarts. I’m so proud cause it is already bubbling so well. I think cause the house is warmer cause I’m running the heat. I tell you what, I never knew how much better homemade kraut could taste & it’s so good for your gut health. Have fun in Boone. Love y’all! ❤🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️😊😊😊

    Your cabbages are BEAUTIFUL! I love cabbage and sauerkraut! I can’t wait to see how your sauerkraut turns out! I really want to start fermenting things like cabbage and carrots~I tried fermented carrots and they were AMAZING! Tasted like pickles! Thank you so much for showing us your canning process~it inspires me to try! <3
