Hey Ghoul Hey 🙂 First and most important make sure you take time to just breathe ok 🙂 As for the mantle , I am partial to vampires and some graveyard look 🙂 An idea for when Lucian is mobile would be pillows in Halloween shapes maybe a blowmold or two . Those are pretty much unbreakable and will do no damage to your little explorer . You, Dallas and Lucian are the most important part of this spooky season and I hope you get a chance to curl up as a family to a hot cocoa, a great hair raising horror film and a good snuggle under a spooky throw 🙂

Yes! Enchanted forest is a good mantle theme, and I’m also partial to a dark apothecary / potions / spells witchy theme for the mantle. I also grabbed that iridescent ghostie jar from HomeGoods a couple weeks ago, super cute!

I always decorate on 8/31, that way I can wake up to Halloween on 9/1. 9/1 is when it’s official (for me lol) Halloween. However, there have been a few times last month when I almost put up Halloween lights and other decor. I do have some small things that I kinda thrown about from my hauls and haven’t put them away. But I am also feeling the maybe decorating a little early vibe!!!!
I have a mantel idea! Maybe something like Ghosts and cemetery theme! Tombstones, candles, branchy trees, ghost lady…could be cool!🪦🕯
