Just do a little at a time you'll get there. Don't forget the toilet paper. I had a cashier tell me there might be shortage again. One thing we got is the muffin mixes for 1.00 and the pizza crust mixes I think they were 89 cent. If you can get to a Sam's club I get m chicken broth thet really cheap. And white vinegar. New to your channel. God bless

I have been shopping this way, having a stocked pantry and shopping the sales. You are right on target Shakema. I just want to add for anyone new to prepping that it is extremely important to store items with by expiration date.

Good work! I love how you used that blessing and look forward to seeing your 30 meals.
I know Dollar Tree isn’t your fave, but they have 1 pound bags of dry beans. Sometimes they have 11/2 ponds of pintos. May be worth a look if you’re in the area. I can’t even believe a pound of dry beans is nearly $1.50!

I'm still stocking up too, my friend works at Walmart an she said that the prices is have gone up. My husband is retired airforce so we went to the commissary today for meat which was much cheaper than what I'm paying. God is going to take care of His people's. Stay blessed

You are blessed. I'm prepping the best I can and I thank God for my hubby, daughter and my son who are working young adults in their twenties. They all bless me because I don't work, so whatever they bless me with I put in the home. I bargain a lot and that is how I'm able to get more for my money. My daughter saw videos on TikTok where a lady posted toilet paper at CVS for .15 cents a roll by Kleenex and by the grace of God I was able get 80 rolls for $12.90 and she got 27 rolls under $4.00. So, that's how I prep always looking for bargains.

It's always good to compare by the ounce becasue sometimes the big can is a better deal, sometimes it's better to get the little ones. Also, important to think abotu how you will use it. If you can use the whole can (with a meal prep or something) great. But if you can't or if someone is cooking for a smaller family, you buy what you need and what you can use. We made bank last week when we went to Hy-Vee and they had their seasoning packets on BOGO. It was a good deal for use to get chili mix, ranch seasoning mix, spaghetti sauce mix, it worked out to 2/$.75 so I think e bought 4 over everything we would use. Even though we have spaghetti sauce in the jars, the seasoning packets only require a can of tomato paste, which takes up less space than another jar of sauce and probably lasts a while, even if it has to be stores near sunlight or in a warmer area. We have a lot of stuff stocked up, so now we're focusing on what is taking up real estate in the pantry and what we can buy to improve. Again, everyone has to do what they can to meet their family's needs. My kids really like spaghetti, so we keep noodles and sauce stocked up. But someone else may do better with canned soup and crackers. You got to do you and not take criticism from anyone about what you are buying. If it's feeding your family and not wasting your money, do what you need to do.
We get WIC for our little boys, so it was a real blessing with Kroger having BOGO deals on bread. In addition to spaghetti, my kid swill never turn down a PB & J. The deal was good becasue we coudl get 2 loaves of bread, but only using our WIC for one loaf. I got two loaves of bread, and then my free items were a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread and a package of whole wheat English muffins. Not everyone eats bread, but this was a great savings for my family. If you didn't have WIC, it still worked out to about $3.79 for the bread, and then your free item. I think that's good for Nature's Own and Thomas products. Raspberries were 4/$5 for 6 oz. Sam's had 12 package for $5 so a GREAT price for me. Grapes were $.99 as well.

This is great haul. Grocery prices are getting scary and are starting to make me nervous.
I was one of those people that did a big $1000 stockup haul. But, my money came from picking up a side hustle. I knew i wanted to stock up so i used my skills to make the $$$ needed. In the last month the side hustle has become more than full time incoming. God sure is amazing!

Nice haul! Those prices do seem to be creeping up and up. I’m sticking to pretty much what you’re doing. Dry beans, canned beans, grits, oatmeal. A little more than a dollar, but I try to stay stocked up on baking essentials and seasonings, so no matter what we can make things from scratch – flour, sugar, yeast, cornmeal, baking powder, baking soda, salt, etc.

I have been working on my pantry also – i enjoyed this vlog- i keep a variety of canned beans which are usually a dollar or less in my pantry and use them to "bulk up" or add protein and fiber to my meals- for instance i love garbanzo beans or kidney beans tossed in my pasta with a little olive oil and kale or spinach. I also add rinsed beans to my salads quite often – and use them in a lot of mexican style dishes – thanks for sharing!
