I can relate as I have many stories like that as an asian immigrant.. I'm wary of befriending white women where I live as the culture in Quebec is very white centric. Even when we were clearly wronged, we would get told to keep it quiet as the white family were more important guests, etc. This happened on at least 3 seperate occasions
You let all these people who you feel wronged you rent space in your head. At least you are now making bank off it..I guess. I also wonder if you were projecting your insecurities on to the people you encounter. 🤔

Potatoes and a little frying are always a perfect way to serve and consume potatoes. It just emphasizes the texture and flavor of the potato. Something boiled potatoes have a hard time doing without help.
