This looks delicious. I am going to try this recipe for Tacos. I will call it "Indo-Mex"cuisine. LOL. It will be very good on a corn tortilla with some guacamole on the side I think!

for the spices you used in the beginning, could I use ground spices instead of whole seeds?

Another variation is to saute the potato cubes first (maybe with some turmeric or ground pepper), then add them to the curry to quickly reheat once it is ready (it won't need as much water). They won't soak up quite as much flavour at that stage but they will provide a nicely contrasting crunch.
How many servings does your recipe make? I am cooking for 5 people and wonder if I should perhaps double the recipe. Thanks, can't wait to make it!
