I buy the bags of garlic from Costco and freezing them ruins the garlic. But I ferment them just like sauerkraut for the probiotics. Then when they are fermented they last in the fridge for 6 months with no problem. They go great in any salad, homemade dressing and homemade hummus.

    Living in Germany
you likely won't have heard of the supermarkets
    except Aldi
but we live in an Aldi Nord area
and the Aldi in the USA is owned by Aldi Süd
The two brothers split in the 1960s and have separate companies.
Our Aldi own Trader Joe's and have some of their products in store.

However I shop principally in a supermarket chain called Rewe
because one branch is near where my partner has physiotherapy
and another branch is in a shopping centre
    in the town centre
near a tram stop, the bank and our pharmacy.

    BTW because I don't own a car
I tend to shop for smaller quantities
    more frequently
but I get bulky items using Rewe's
    delivery service.

For egg, I use 2 heaping tablespoons split mung beans and 1 tablespoon raw pumpkin seeds. Pour boiling water over and let soak about an hour. Drain, then blend with some turmeric, onion and garlic powder, nutritional yeast, black pepper and water. Makes enough for a 10 inch omelette. I have a cheap personal blender I do it in, so nothing special. Sprinkle black salt on it after cooked. It's very good. I hear you about wanting crunchy crackers, but there's always oil. I like to buy the whole wheat lavash at Trader Joe's, cut into squares and air fry a few minutes. Voila, oil free "crackers". Also, their lavash is way cheaper and only whole wheat flour, water, salt and yeast. They keep in container for at least 3-4 days. 😉😁

I buy the big bag of garlic and freeze it unpeeled in ziplock freezer bags. So easy to smash it so the peel comes off . Very easy to mince garlic while it is still frozen. Thanks for the great video!

We live on a boat. That shelf tofu is great for making sauces. If you take one box of that shelf tofu, drain it, dump it into a food processor, that can be your base sauce. To the tofu, I add three packets of Savory Choice Liquid Reduced Vegetable Broth (low sodium), 3 Tablespoons of that Coconut Amino Acid you just bought (or tahini or soy sauce if you do not have issues with gluten) and one Tablespoon dried dill (mash in the palm of your hand to make more fragrant. Bzzzzzz. This is a delicious sauce for Stroganoff (I use mushrooms – no meat, but since not everyone in your family likes the taste of mushrooms, try a different vegetable that does not turn to mush). To make creamer for coffee, take a box of on the shelf tofu, drain excess water, dump into the drained tofu into a food processor and using the now empty box the tofu come in as a measuring device, and fill the box with a non-dairy milk of your choice. Bzzzzzz. You can add more or less non-dairy milk of your choice to alter the viscosity. You can heat the creamer and add maple syrup to taste, pour over poached pears … drizzling a little melted chocolate for a special dessert for company.

Joey and Tim, Thanks for sharing. Would either of you be kind enough to post the product number and upc code for the Coco Aminos? My local Costco doesn't have them but if I have the info I can call around Michigan to try to find it.
