I get making nostalgic things from our childhood. My dad used to make these big flat pancakes that were almost like crepes and I still make them, and it's actually the only way my family likes pancakes, haha! They just remind me of my dad making pancakes on Sunday mornings 🙂

Day 13 of eating at home – all meals. I really wanted pizza but fixed leftovers instead. I could have made pizza at home but it was more logical to heat up what I already have ready to eat.

I understand about clothes issues. After having to have my hair cut due to illness it is just now growing out enough where when the wind blows outdoors my hair gets in my mouth. Very irritating.

Textures of material bug me too. Cannot be stiff, scratchy or itchy. Where you have issues around your ankles, I have issues around shirts that scrunch up around my neck and sleeves that exceed the length of my arm. I tend to wear short or 3/4 sleeves.

My hair texture fine and fly away. Seems to tangle without me doing anything. When it was long I’d wear it up in elaborate braids or buns (I miss that). Now it’s not long enough for a ponytail – yet. I wake up to hair stuck to or a few strands in my mouth.

The Africa mission sounds exciting! Will there be a recap for you all?

A friend here in Minneapolis, Minnesota is going to Uganda next week and will be sharing about it after.

Ooo I know what you mean about certain clothing I do not like shirts that cover the neck. Like a turtleneck. Bothersome! And hair too. If the Whisps of hair are fly away and go on the face.

We just went and did our final haul for January! I can't wrap my head around the whole month but I got everything down when it comes to 2 weeks. I can remember being worried becuz we used to do weekly but na it's easy peasy lol. I'm sure it I'd just do 1 month it wouldn't be to hard. We spent $84 roughly for 2 . We had all the meat tho so meat market shopping is paying off 🥳🥳🥳 Love y'all ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Tiffany! we are doing ‘eat at home’ challenge as well! I am taking a little IG break so i’m not able to tag you on meals but so far we are doing great! I was tired today after a long week of mom life here and this am i needed a fill in haul at Aldi. I had $50 in cash, and needed produce, milk, etc. I saw their take and bake pizzas and REALLY wanted to get one with some cheese breadsticks for tonight. But it would have taken $11 of my money and we had food here that i could make. So i kept with our friday menu of hot dogs, buns, leftover pasta salad, 1/2 bag fries and fruit and the kids loved it! So yay for day 13 of eating at home, sticking to a budget, using up things in pantry, fridge and freezer! We’ve been eating up all our leftovers and i’m cooking a lot from scratch too. Thank you for all the inspiration!

I can’t stand hair in my face either. I really don’t like closed in shoes, long pants or long sleeve shirts. I wear flip flops, rank tops and shorts year around. Even in cold weather.

This is one reason we decided to do home schooling. My older son who will be 9 next month couldn't handle the CONSTANT sit in a chair all day. He needs to takes breaks and also a drink or snack break. In school he did poorly because he wasn't allowed to do that. Now that he's home hes done so much better in school. My 6 year old is the same way. He cannot sit still for long. So we take breaks and such and it works out so much better. I can tailor each child's learning needs and it works perfect. You do so much, I don't know how you do it all lol! Those pizza muffins with the pepperoni look super yummy!
