Uh… Ms. Helene? I love hearing you talk and can listen to you all day. I don't know what the term is, or if there is one, for somebody that is not Russian but is obsessed with everything Russian. Well that's me. I am Canadian of south east Asian background but I feel I should've been Russian. lol I'm even named after a certain Russian automobile. LOL! No kidding. My first two serious girlfriends were Russian.
It was so cute when you talked about your parents using pillsbury. There is no shame in that!! Especially when you are a hard working family. I am so happy you were able to adapt over the years and figure out such a beautiful recipe that you can pass down for many years to come
If you were my wife I would weight 400 pounds.
Russians have a lot of influence on Persian culture. Pirashkii is how we say it too. they are so good. especially the ones made by Armenian community.
Jesus Loves you! Have a great Wednesday!!~ <3
Is it possible to use regular milk instead? Heavy milk is expensive for me 🙁
I think you’ve inspired me to try something new. Wow!
Informative recipe and the accent is so soothing!
Ive been making these for years, thanks to my grandma. Fun to make, and always a hit with friends and family.
Anybody have a thought on time/temp of Pirozhki for frying? I just picked up a deep fryer and as a complete novice to the medium could use some advice.
Careful sounds like a Russian gay porno film.
I'm making these for a change because i always over-knead my pierogi dough. I'm filling them with a gulyás-inspired ground beef and tomato filling!
Yes you talked too much LOL , but in a informative way.

Baking shit? Lol…
I recently watched a video by " Survival Russia", who is a Swede married to a Russian woman and they are homesteading in Siberian Russia. In this video his wife filmed, and translated into English, this little old lady, who lives down his lane as his close neighbor, baking these pastries in a traditional wood-fired, home, brick oven. In her recipe the filling was boiled egg and green onions. She apparently is one of the most popular folks in the village because she shares these with her neighbors all the time. Because of your very excellent and concise instruction, for both the pasty and the cabbage filling, I am determined to make this recipe. I just want to congratulate you on a very fine product that you are producing here on YouTube. Two thumbs and both big toes up!!
Yup you talk too much
Always remember:
Don't forget the baking-shit. ;-D
So you stuff full grown Russians in those buns, huh? 😉
Look and sound delicious. Added to my cooking list so I can try it out later. :9
Made this last night. It came out amazing.
Just found your channel, and I don't care about the talking. Your accent is wonderful, and I love hearing stories about things like family traditions and stories from people whose recipes I enjoy. It is alot of work to do what YouTube creators do to share these kinds of videos and I appreciate the time, effort and money that you spend so that you can share recipes with us for free! Thank you! This is my first video of yours, and I am going to subscribe right now.
I also enjoyed your presentation in this YouTube. And I agree you are a delight to listen to, I would like to come to one of your cooking lessons. But I think I would much rather be invited to dinner. 😊
Morels… omg ❤️
Just found the channel. You're awesome.
💜
what an excellent app!
I absolutely feel your pain. We are a Hungarian family living in the UK and all my recipies from home are pretty much useless here. I can count on one hand how many times it turned out good when I tried to make anything I frequently made at home. 😄
I love your presentation actually it suits the dish very well. I love your videos a lot and I hope you the best! Best regulars from Saudi Arabia.
I know what you mean the ingredients are not the same in all countries. Salt and vinegar are not the same everywhere (for making pickles for example)
Oh, come on…get to the recipe! Jesus.
Dear Helen, thank you so much for the informative video, I'm always happy to learn a bit of historical background when it comes to food.
Spasiba <3
I'll join in on the overwhelming chorus here: your voice rocks!
You do not talk too much! Your voice is so incredibly soothing and the video was so informative.
When it comes to baking, name brand matters. I don’t mean you have to use expensive flour or salts, you have to use the same. Since Red Band flour got bought by pilsbury my mom hasn’t gotten her cakes the same. (My mom made about 50 cakes a week (lots more at Christmas) for 30 years.
Thank you thank you thank you ❣️❣️😘
Are you equating the liquid grams for mils?
happy that i found your channel. i definitely have to try this amazing recipe. thank you for sharing
Love your voice, your channel, and your journey. Respect from Michigan
I loved your description, explanation. Thank you very much
You’re adorable.
Пирожки! Шикарное произношение российского названия этого чудесного пирожка 🙂
Рецепт супер, девушка прекрасна! Я влюбилась 🙂
Such a very pleasant speaker 🤗 and an incredible chef too👍
An absolutely delightful video! I’m from Oklahoma, originally Texas. I have a heavy Oklatexan accent. I must comment that your enunciation is so refreshingly easy to understand. Seriously, I understand you more clearly than my own daughter! The recipe looks delicious! I will soon be making caramelized cabbage! And perhaps make a feeble attempt at this recipe, substituting Bob’s Red Mill 1-1 gluten free flour. Thanks so much for the videos!!
Thank you ! Also for language and culture lesson 🙂
Omgosh! Yummy 😋 thank you for sharing this recipe. This is how I remember them. ❤️
The inflections in your voice remind me of Carl Sagan! Great channel
Your voice is as lovely as you are. Please keep talking, ill gladly listen. Your pirozhki are almost as good.
Can they be frozen? That is if they last long enough to be put in the freezer.😂😂
