I tried this pasta( before I watched reviews) and I didn’t like it either. I overwhelmingly taste the bean flavor in it and the texture is off putting. I personally think perfect keto needs to “go back to the drawing board” with this product.
Thanks for reviewing Steve. I bought some of the mac'n'cheese and it's pretty good by it's self, better with ragu double cheddar sauce an absolutely fabulous for pasta salad. 😊
I will check this out. I actually make my own Mac & cheese comfort dish with konjac macaroni noodles, real dehydrated cheddar cheese, heavy cream & butter powders, sea salt, pepper, a bit of light olive oil & those little canned Vienna sausages. It comes out tasting just like what my grandmother made for us in the pre-80's. The dried powder products are clean, pure ingredients & can be ordered in those #10 size survival food cans. Keto doesn't have to mean deprivation!
Thank you for this review. My daughter is 4, type one diabetic, and has celiac disease. I was really interested when you said you were going to check your cgm. I was on the fence about buying this product, we’re going to give it a try. We need a filling pasta that is easy on her blood sugar.

When I used to make traditional Mac & Cheese in my pre-keto days, I would always add a little bit of real cheddar or American cheese (whichever I had on hand) because I thought it added to the taste of it. I would think it should work on this as well.
I wonder if this would make a good cold macaroni salad, with hard boiled eggs, mayo? Dill relish? What’s your thoughts?
Just ordered their Mac & Cheese… and rice krispy bars, and granola bars.
I am totally grossed out by this mac n cheese. It tastes like beans and the texture after a high boil for 10 minutes was still al dente. I'd recommend boiling for 15 minutes to achieve a more pasta like texture.

I did the preorder based on this review. I made it for the first time last night for my grandkids (8 and 10). I totally agree the chew was not good. My husband thought it was okay but I was ready to pitch it. Grandkids ate about a quarter cup and were done. I cooked the pasta for 8 min. May try it again when the memory fades… With different timing but my initial reaction was “send it back!” I am very sensitive to mouth feel. Darn!

I got a silly question to ask I just started watching and previewing your videos in one of the videos couple years ago you had what it was called keto pancakes and I was kind of concerned as to why con't you try chicken rind powder instead of pork rind power. Would love to see a video on using chicken rind powder.

I’m very happy for all y’all who need Mac and cheese in your life .. but for all those carbs I can have a huge mixed green salad .. with avocado.. get all the fiber and much much more nutrition … but I guess MAYBE for a birthday treat ..
Cheese is keto-friendly so add some real cheese. I like making my own mac & cheese, if I could find keto-friendly pasta.

yah thats a BIG NO for me. First off, I don't believe in "net" carbs, I feel they are just a term made up for marketing. 27 carbs is WAY too high. I'll keep making my pasta recipe of Anne's or the one you posted. That way I know with no doubt what is going into my food

I preordered some today. I made my own version of lupin mac and cheese and it was pretty good. I used pork panko crumbs and baked it in the oven with keto cheese sauce I made. I love mac and cheese and the Kraft box kind was so special to me before my Keto lifestyle. I also used my glucose CMG to test and did not get an insulin spike. I am type 2 diabetic so I know this will be any easy welcome staple in my house. Want more cheesy just add a little more cheese and butter or whipping cream. That is what I used to do with Kraft as well.

Steve, Thank you for the review and the info about availability. I know I wouldn't be able to check at 7am since I was driving to work then but I remembered when I got home and it was still available! Since there was a discount, I ordered more of the sleep turmeric stuff for my husband that you recommended. We first got it from your birthday week and he loves it. (I found that it stains clothes if it spills though)
Sad news for Canadians! Perfect Keto did not charge me shipping on my first 2 orders (i guess that was good news)! BUT last night they wanted to charge me $35+ for shipping!!! 😖😞 after exchange rate on the order AND shipping, that is just way too far out of reach for me!
