Fideo is my favorite with vermicelli.
I’ve never liked applesauce with anything- reminds me of baby food, so I grew up enjoying this dish with golden fried onions and butter toasted breadcrumbs, and even better with a sprinkle of Schabziger, a specialty Swiss cheese like no other.
