Here’s another pantry meal using many shelf stable ingredients. Staying at home doesn’t mean you need to eat crummy food. ** NEW Instant Pot COOKBOOK!
Here’s a simple pantry meal for you. Stay safe. Be kind. Happy Sunday! 💕
That is a good idea we are in isolation, so our pantry is our "store". I have lots of chickpea's. They are always filling and just love Indian food. I will have to make some. You always make these recipe's look so easy. Thank you!
Flo, what did you think of the freeze dried garlic? Is it a good substitute for fresh?
This recipe sounds amazing.
Ohhhhh boy, that looks deeeelicious! We call cilantro coriander, I can’t stand the taste of it uncooked dude, but I’ve never thought it tastes of soap.
Be well Flo!!!! I pray you and your family weather this storm with peace. Because together as a world we’ll get through it!! 🤗
Prayers and love to all the Lumlings from we three Olsoni! ❤️❤️🙏🙏
Beware of that garlic aftermath! 🤣 Great recipe! I’m excited to try this one.
Haven't been to a grocery store since I stocked up in mid-February. Now I can't due to I'm high risk for this virus. Besides, a neighbor stated the shelves in our area are EMPTY. He had to go to 3 different stores (in the chain) just to find a half gallon of milk and one loaf of bread. NOT LOOKING GOOD HERE, FLO. Don't have the ingredients for this recipe so I'm moving on. Stay safe. I like your "Christian Perspective" videos.
DO SOME MORE RAMEN VIDEOS, PLEASE! IT'S ALL I HAVE TO EAT!
I've tested positive but Im asymptomatic, stuck at home for a week…this a great recipe to make use of my pantry
Just shave it off, Dude!
That would be a real change, wouldn't it?
As for soap, don't tell me you've never gotten any soap in your mouth in the shower? And yes, cilantro is really, really nasty! (I hear it's a different gene I have.)
I love Indian food too! Except beans and peas. Ugh. Still if I did like chickpeas I would totally give this a try. The base recipe to the sauce you created however sounds like it might be very good sauce for pastas. Maybe even as a cold base sauce to convert to a dressing for garden pasta to make a cold pasta salad in the summer. 🤔 I may have to give that a a try.
Made for supper. It is great. Because my husband complains if there is no meat, i added 1 1/2 cups of shredded chicken after cooking. He loves it. I will definitely be making again.
This looks delicious. Thanks for the video and recipe. I was just checking my pantry yesterday and noticed I had at least 3 cans of Chickpeas…I shouldn't have to go to the grocery store anytime soon, thankfully. Both freezers are full, etc. I made a big IP of Chili yesterday and 3 cups of rice in the IP today…The only thing I'm out of are eggs, but I will survive. As always, thanks for your channel and you and Dude's dedication to your ministry and way of life…It inspires and encourages the rest of us greatly.
“Staying at home doesn’t mean you need to eat crummy food.” 😄Priceless!! Thank you, Flo, for the reminder that food is still plentiful. No need to hoard anything. And another thank you for your recent wonderfully uplifting messages that you graciously shared with us. Listening to you is so calming. I’m a man of faith, you make mine deeper. 🙏🏼🌈✝️
Looks good I will try this next week thanks FLO and taster friend😁
As I’ve had to get “creative” w/what’s on hand in the pantry/fridge/freezer, my family has been loving it! New food ideas seem to make them happy which in turn just makes me even more joyful! There are blessings in every single thing. Even this that we’re going through today. I was able to get a church service out of Nashville, TN this morning. Another blessing! Thanks for this recipe. Love chickpeas. Going to try this. Blessings of good health to you and yours. 🙏🏽🥰
OMG Flo! I had no idea you weren't Indian. Lol. Just kidding. So glad you posted this. I actually made a meat version of this last night for the first time ever ( I've eaten it before at a restaurant). Used ground pork cause that's what I had and Lebanese 7 spice! It was fantastic. I hear you dude. Send basmati rice! I used Jasmine rice cause that's what I had. Funny I was at work today and almost grabbed a can of chickpeas to stretch the leftovers. Lol. Indian spices are amazing. Stay well ❤️
I have been married & cooking for almost 51 years and have never eaten chick-peas. My mother never made/used them and neither did any of my aunts, etc.! What do they taste like – what are they similar to, in taste? Are they good as far as protein &/or fiber are concerned? I need to know more…lol…I had better Google my inquiry, right?! Lol
Watched the video, ran inside to make it. Thank you!
Thank you for pushing yourself to help others. Please don't forget to take time for yourself. You deserve it.
Looks yummy, Flo! I thought you were crazy when you grated the ginger, but I checked this other channel I follow (TwoSleevers Urvashi). Her heritage is actually Indian and her recipe for Chana Masala does include ginger. Who knew (I didn't) ginger would be in an Indian dish! Sorry for thinking you were crazy! 😢 Love the idea of pantry meals! 👍😊
Hi, Flo! Random question here…does the Norwex cloth remove viruses?
Just made your IP Rendang …. waiting for to come to pressure and cook … this is my 2nd time making it … SUPER YUM!! Thank you!! Be Safe!! Love from Scarborough!!
I made this recipe and topped it with a fried egg in each bowl and it was perfect!
Thx Flo and Dude. How long would cook it without an Instapot? Making chicken broth, for to be prepared. Hi from Calgary.
