If you're already planning on going to the grocery store for fresh fruits and vegetables and dairy I'm wondering what the actual challenge is? The point of a pantry supply test is to make sure you can have a balanced diet WITHOUT running to the grocery store. Please clarify what the POINT of your challenge is so we can enjoy your videos about it.

I am so stocked up on most things I'm currently just filling in the wholes when I see sales or if we are out of something. If we are out of something I buy at least 3. One for now, two for latter (Kimmy from she's in her apron and Jordan page from fun cheap or free always say this and it works)

I need this challenge after buying a 20 lb turkey for six people. It was the last turkey on sale before Thanksgiving so here we are. My freezer is full of frozen cooked chickpeas, chopped red sweet peppers from the garden, and chopped greens, also from the garden. With chopped turkey, turkey stock, carrots, onions, celery, garlic, and a little bit of noodles or macaroni this is a favorite winter soup. It's a real clear the freezer and disguise the turkey recipe. If I don't clear out the freezer I'm going to have to buy another one.

We are going to join you and your family for this challenge. We will be going to the store weekly for fresb produce and meal preps to go with what we already have in the freezer. I am hoping to make a dent in our freezers. And I am finally getting a chance to work on our bread making skills lol.. Let's do this!!

I enjoyed your video. You’ve done a great job stocking your pantry. I smiled when you spoke about cheese grits. I love cheese grits and had already added my cheese grits casserole to this week’s menu. I like to put a little hot sauce in my cheese grits – just enough to give them a little kick.

I am going to try this too! I have been so successful in stocking up at the grocery store that I have a big mess on my hands. I had some bananas going bad the other day and literally had to put them in a ziplock and squish them into a small hole in the freezer! Oh well, once they are part of a banana bread or smoothie, no one will ever know😉

I'm trying to do the same thing this month including Xmas dinner. I already have two choices for Xmas dinner in the freezer (prime rib that was on an amazing sale, and sale a turkey from our Canadian Thanksgiving sale). There's only three of us, all adults, that I'm cooking for so it's going to take a bit of planning. I really found it easier when I was cooking for five of us plus a friend or two of my then teenagers.
