Me and my wife just finished devouring this pizza, which turned out great for any pizza, let alone for such a quick one. Thanks Brian for another awesome recipe, keep up the good work!
I dunno what I did wrong but the dough seemed way too wet compared to what the video showed… as a result I couldn't really do the SBF, and the baked result was a pizza that fell apart. I'll give it another go but might fall back to your Swiss army knife pizza dough!
Thanks much for this recipe. I had no plans for dinner last night and made this pizza. It turned out great in my 10" cast iron skillet. This is my first time making pan pizza and I now know to use more cheese and more sauce. Thanks again 🙂
Yet again your recipes worked perfectly. Did a double batch. Timed the bread about 30 mins apart. Did one in cast iron and one in a 9”x13” pan. Both turned out great
My wife, four kids and I LOVE your pizza series. We’ve started using your pizza sauce on tortellini. Awesome! We’re doing this one tonight and it already smells great.
Dude. I just finished making this pizza (admittedly my dough didn’t get at symmetric and firm as yours, but) it turned out awesome. Every one kept mentioning how beery/bready the house smelt. Thanks for making this video!
I have a 12" Food Network cast iron skillet from Kohls as well but without the long handle and that is my only issue with it. Not having the long handle always requires two hands to move it but it does store easier.
Made this last night! amazing!!! I don't think I could ever buy store bought pizza again! Better than 99% of restaurant pizza in fact! Tried using 805 beer the first try, dough didn't rise much. Mixed a new batch with Bud light worked fine.
This here man is a masterpiece. This recipe is awesome. I don't think there's a better quick pizza out there compared to this one. Thank you man I love you no homo, already cooked this 4 days in a row since I saw it first.
Proof the dough in a bowl, and Preheat that cast iron pan to oven temp, then stretch out the dough and place the dough in the pan then build your pie out. It’ll take less time to cook and the bottom of that pie will be amazing
Brian you are easily one of my absolute favorite people to watch cook. Your confident skill, fun execution and amazing results… what's not to love! You continue to maintain who you are and what you are is awesome! Just really amazing work man 🙂
Newbie question, my oven only goes to 500, so can I just put it for a longer time or it really needs to be at 550 in order to properly cook ?
That shit looks burnt!

AWESOME!
Is it possible to use a lot of butter instead of spraying the pan with oil to give the bottom of the dough a buttery flavor? Or will it burn?

Even though everything else was like-worthy, you got my like for drinking beer with a straw.
Where is your Ohio Valley Style pizza recipe?

Had a detroit style pan sitting in my place for a couple months and have been lazy about making the dough. This is perfect for Sunday lunch/dinner!

Watching this video made my stomach start growling.
hey, my oven maxes out at 230 celcius, dya think that'll be enough? Additionally, is this on the fan mode or the normal mode ? THank you!
I'm glad to see you're not afraid to torch that mofo.

I tried. The dough just did not cooperate. Ugh!
Making this for the second time this week 🙂 Can you do a 1 hour New York Style next?
